OC Billing

Text message terms

The terms for text messages sent from +1 (877) 729-4729 by OC Billing on behalf of the businesses that use it.

Last updated 2026-09-23. OC Billing is operated by MDMD Investments, LLC.

The programme

OC Billing sends invoices, estimates and payment reminders by text on behalf of the trade businesses that use our software — refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and similar. Messages come from +1 (877) 729-4729 and always begin with OC Billing: followed by the name of the business. These are transactional messages about work you have had done. We do not send marketing texts.

How you join

You join in one of three ways, and all of them are you asking us:

The box is never ticked for you. Agreeing is never a condition of buying anything, of receiving an invoice, or of being able to pay one. You can always receive your invoice by email or on paper instead.

What you will get

How often

Message frequency varies. You get a message when a business you hired sends you an invoice or an estimate, and a reminder if one comes due. Most people receive a few messages a month.

What it costs

We charge you nothing for these messages. Message and data rates may apply from your own mobile provider.

Stopping them

Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages to that number. Reply HELP for help. You can also stop them on our text messages page without signing in, or email help@ocbilling.com.

STOP applies to your number across every business using OC Billing, not only the one that texted you. We keep a record that you stopped, so that it stays stopped.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your mobile provider and your handset. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, Cricket and Virgin Mobile, among others.

Your information

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes.

We keep a record of every opt-in and opt-out: the wording you were shown, word for word, when you agreed, and how. That record exists so we can show what you actually agreed to, and for nothing else. See our privacy policy.
